is a solo (1vs1) open-rank Relax tournament, primarily featuring a random map selection process. We offer an extensive pool of maps (mostly very hard DT's this time), categorized into types such as known DT1, FM2, etc. Each of these categories contains a multitude of maps with similar difficulty levels. Upon picking, a map will be randomly picked from the chosen category. Tournament also introduces an enhanced win condition system, since none of the existing systems in the game satisfies the balanced Relax competition. Matches will follow a double-elimination format.
Each pick will output a completely random map from the extensive collection of maps. Only the host has access to this pool, ensuring that the randomization process is carried out automatically. Due to the absence of specific maps to choose from, a standard ban system is not feasible. However, once a map has been selected, players from both sides have the option to reroll it. Each player is allocated two rerolls per match.
Although the tournament already embracing a high degree of randomness, our DT pool further enhances it. Each subsequent category signifies a noticeable increase in difficulty so that you can eventually end up playing 11* maps with DT. Each player may select a category twice, allowing for greater flexibility in gameplay. If you prefer to avoid extremely challenging maps, you have the option to choose easier picks. And to those who have eagerly awaited a tournament that aligns with their playstyle - I heard you, there is your shot!
Since neither misses nor accuracy gives a fair enough estimate to compare scores, the tournament uses some sort of midpoint system. Basically, within an accuracy-based system, we greatly increase the influence of misses. You can find the specific formula in the rules, and also you can download an in-game overlay showing your adapted score if you wish.
